08/Novembre/2009 // D-Light Show

This year’s Irish design week was the best ever; and the highlight of the week for us, and for many was the IFDN show of new work at the stunning D-light studios. We shared the space with Ronan & Erwan Bouroullecs Quilt series for Established & Sons and their clouds for kvadrat. Below are a few quick snaps of the space, our stand and some of the other goings on!

Well we are just back from a hectic few days in London where we launched new products at TentLondon. Thanks to everyone we met and who helped us get there! Thanks also to Wedge who's help was invaluable and entertainment made the days go very fast!

VaughShannon recently took part in Palermo design week where, along with our friends Unleaded we represented Ireland at an exhibition called storie di design which was curated by Porzia Bergamasco. We didn't get to make it to Sicily, but thanks to Porzia we managed to get some photos of what looks to be a really nice, and really interesting exhibition.

We have been invited to represent the Irish design scene at the Palermo design week.

“Storie di Design”, by Porzia Bergamasco, from the idea of Giuseppe Finocchio, 54 designers from each of the 27 countries of the European community, will present a project and the history that characterizes it.

VaughShannon have been featured in a new book by former wallpaper magazine's design editor Laura Houseley. The book can be purchased from here...

Well nobody could accuse us of giving away too much about our new products! There’s not long left now until we have to pack our bags and crates for our trip to the world’s greatest furniture fair. The Irish Furniture DesignersNetwork (IFDN) will hold an exhibition of new furniture and lighting products at the chq building, Dublin Docklands to coincide with Design Week 2008 from Mon 3rd to Sat 8th November 2008. Come along and check it out!

Opening Times: 10am-6pm daily. Reception: Thurs 6th 6-9pm by invitation only.

You can see a short video of our debut at Tent London here. Thanks again to the Department of creation for creating it, and for producing such a fantastic tune which they aptly named “vs dream”. Is there anything they can’t do?

Hello and welcome to the updated and refreshed vaugh|shannon website.  As much as we loved the original site, we felt that a change was necessary in line with our commitment to providing fresh and innovative designs. The new-look site has also been designed to cater for the growing number of visitos to the site. We would also like to thank to the Department of Creation  - their commitment to our vision for the website was unparalleled and they definitely exceeded our expectations! 

26/February/2008 //Source@RDS Dublin//

We have been invited to exhibit at Source from 30th March-2nd April in the RDS Dublin. The event has been curated by Leo Scarff, and should be an exciting and valuable addition to the Irish furniture fair. We will be showing our Happy lamp and Madra for the first time shown in Ireland.. Thanks to Leo for inviting us along. Unfortunately this is a trade only event, so have your business cards ready.

We have been super busy over the past couple of months, and there has been lots of development work going on with all our products (and some exciting new ones!).
